Thanks for joining us, high in the mountains of West Virginia, to celebrate love, music and community!
You may have felt a weight lift off your shoulders as you ascended The Mountain, and now that you’ve arrived, you can relax and enjoy nature’s playground and all that awaits this weekend.
Beyond the world class talent gracing the 4848 Festival’s three signature stages, there is much to explore while you’re here. Take advantage of the ski lift, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking,
swimming, the climbing wall, frisbee golf, beach and so much more.
Don’t forget to check out our hand selected food and craft
vendors, bringing their festival flare to 4,848. Swing by the
kids zone for some family fun, and keep an eye out for the Amazing Giants who will be popping up throughout the weekend.

SHUTTLES + LIFT
🚌 YOU GOTTA GET UP TO GET DOWN! RIDE THE FESTIVAL EXPRESS, THE BALLHOOTER LIFT OR THE RESORT SHUTTLES 🚌
The Ballhooter is always a favorite way to get up and down the mountain especially on Friday & Saturday mornings when we host music at the Boathouse. When the line builds up and you don’t want to wait WE GOT YOU! Hop on our Festival Express for rides up and down the mountain! Hours and routes are below.
IMPORTANT - This route is from the Village Stop to The Boathouse/Camping. If you want to stop at other resort stops you’ll want to hop on the Snowshoe Shuttle. They will all be marked so it will be clear what shuttle you’re boarding!
Look for the Blue Flags at the Village Stop in front of Seneca or by the Boathouse & Camping at the Lake. This is where you can pick up the VIP Festival Express!
Festival Express Shuttle Hours:
- 8AM FIRST PICK UP IN THE VILLAGE TO THE BOATHOUSE
- 2:00AM LAST SHUTTLE LEAVES FROM THE VILLAGE TO HEAD BACK TO CAMPING
If you are looking for a shuttle that will bring you from the North to the South part of the mountain this is the shuttle for you! You can pick up a resort map at the info booth in the village and will receive one at check in. All Snowshoe Shuttle Stops are marked with a B on the map.
In the village you can load onto the lift behind Allegheny Springs and you’ll be transported straight to the Boathouse.

With Greensky Bluegrass headlining the mountaintop, setting the perfect soundtrack for an epic night, and Lotus taking the reins for a late-night rodeo rave, we're celebrating with a rodeo-inspired throwdown that's equal parts bluegrass, mountain spirit, and late-night magic.

Potluck Food Truck will be located in the Sky Lounge exclusive to VIP! Offering Farm to table seasonal goods from Farmstead an organic farm located in Hillsboro, WV. They create seasonal dishes based on what they have growing at the time. Anything they don’t grow ourselves we source from local partners such as Hidden Creek Farm Market, Bootstraps Farm, Gallucci Family Farm, Renick Valley Meats + Mountain Table Coffee.
